Bloggity Blog Blog…

…blog.

I felt the necessity to wipe out about three months of previous blogs.

I received a few phone calls and emails, with comments about my decision.

“Why, Laura, why?” many of the faithful browsers have asked.

Oh, so many reasons.

Number 1. “I felt like it.” I felt like destroying everything I’d built, and starting fresh. Why not? So I did.

Number 2. “I wanted to try a new blogging tool.” B2, WordPress, Moveable Type, Blogger: there are so many blogging tools out there. And they change just about every day. Why not pick another one to try out? So I did.

Number 3. “My old blogging tool, B2, was giving me some hassles.” Some less-than-ethical folks were spamming up the comments, and the tool didn’t let me effectively edit or block them. Blogging etiquette is changing as rapidly as blogging tools, it appears. And new features in Blogger (the new tool) is letting me deal with these issues as they crop up.

I like learning new things and starting fresh. I also like destruction and reconstruction. It’s healthy.

Out with the old. In with the blog…
