Google Gone Mad.

Every day, I like Yahoo! for my searches more and more. I used to like Google an awful lot, but for the past few months, they’ve been delivering some strange results.

Is it just me? I search for at least a dozen topics just about every day, and the first ten results don’t give me what I’m looking for at all! Just a bunch of gibberish!

So I go to Yahoo! and I find that I’m getting more useful sites in the top ten. And at least they’re current. I’m not fond of whatever changes Google has made to their formula lately.

Here’s an odd example: the blog I wrote here on May 31 showed up in Google’s top ten for the term “kalamazoo realtors”! Now, I used that term in my blog, but come on. There are 35,900 other sites that Google listed for that term. And most of them probably have something to do with kalamazoo real estate.

So, if you’re a Kalamazoo Realtor, and you’re wondering why I’m here and you’re not…I have NO EARTHLY IDEA. It’s not fair. You should be in the top 10, not me.
