It’s like slapping Jesus in the face…

Know this:

Just because holiday Email is inexpensive to send does not mean there is NOT a cost.

In all three cases described in my holiday email rant, bad holiday email practices actually cost these B2B companies my 2007 business and/or referrals.

And that’s a high price to pay for a “cheap” email campaign.

Look at it this way – we’re all busy in December, and our email boxes are already on Christmas spam overload! The last thing a B2B audience needs is yet one more piece of poorly crafted, I-could-care-less-about-you, it’s-all-about-me-pretending-to-care-about-you holiday email.

It’s like slapping Jesus in the face.

So if you are going to send a holiday email, do it right.

Have a plan. Be strategic.

Be considerate of your audience.

Carefully craft your messages.

Test your timing.

Measure relentlessly.

And above all, do it legally!

Make a Safe and Merry Christmas!
