How Valid Are You?

Every so often, I check my validation at W3C.

Today, I am valid. Hurrah!

Usually, I am not.

As I constantly add new content to my site, it is all too easy to break some small markup validation rule. Just one wrong attribute in one too-hasty post… and my blog starts to get funkier-looking with every passing day.So when I noticed that my fonts were all over the place, the first thing I did was check markup validation. I found a mild posting error last week that threw my fonts into fits.

I cleaned the code, and all became instantly well.

If something goes amiss at your site, check your validation first. It can quickly point you in the right direction.
