Flickr Lets You Blog Photos

Get a free account at Flickr, and you can share photos at your blog. Not just your own photographs, but the photos of others who are eager to share their work.

Here’s how:

1 Get a free account at Flickr.
2. Go to Your Account > Your Blogs > Set Up a New Blog.
3. Let the next few screens walk you through customizing your settings.

Next, find the photo you want to share at your blog, then click “Blog this photo”. You can type in a blog post entry if you want — at Flicker (that’s what I am doing right now). If you need to edit the post later, you can go into Blogger, TypePad, Wordpress, etc. — whatever blog platform you normally use, and do it from there.

Next, I’ll click the “Post Entry” button, and you should see a beautiful picture of my home town of Grand Rapids Michigan taken by powerbooktrance — all neatly embedded within my blog post.

What do you think?
