Ahh, the 4 P’s of Marketing: Product, Place, Price, and Promotion.
What happens when the promotion becomes the product? When someone is willing to pay thousands of dollars for William Shatner’s kidney stone, or for a cheese sandwich, you know that promotion is eclipsing product.
