It’s Like a Veg-O-Matic for Twitter…
I added two of my blog feeds to TwitterFeed today. That way, whenever I post, Twitter is instantly updated.
Twitterfeed is something of a Ron Popeil Veg-O-Matic “set it and forget it” play. Except instead of entering vegetables, you enter RSS feeds into Twitterfeed. Twitterfeed slices and dices any feed you care to enter, and then updates them at Twitter.
It took me about 4 minutes to set the whole Twitterfeed thing up, and now I don’t have to manually post each update at Twitter.
Cool. What a time saver.
Any RSS feed is fair game for Twitterfeed. You don’t have to have a blog to participate at Twitterfeed. So far, I’m only auto-twitting my blog feeds, but most social media sites feature RSS feeds. For example, I could auto-Tweet my Facebook updates by adding a FaceBook Status Feed to Twitterfeed. Or I could add a Flickr feed to update my Twitter followers on new photos.
How will you use OpenID to better manage your time and improve social media releationships? And how else does Twitterfeed remind you of Ron Popeil, Ronco, and direct marketing?
