Using Jott to Twitter and Blog…
Jott.com rocks.
I have been using this free service to send email messages to clients, colleagues, and friends while I am on the road. I simply:
Dial the Jott toll-free number.
It asks, “who do you want to Jott?”
I say the name of a person whose contact info I have uploaded to Jott from Outlook.
I speak a 30 [...]

Neat idea from Barry Schwartz at his Cartoon Barry blog…

I only just began my Twitter Challenge at the beginning of August, and I have recently been informed that Twitter has jumped the shark. It’s out of fashion.
Twitter is so over.
That was quick!
Instead, Pownce is poised to take over Twitter’s popularity with the social media fashionistas.

Adding a badge in Twitter
For today’s Twitter task in the Twitter Challenge, I added a badge to the sidebar of this very blog. It took 5 minutes, total. To date, this is the longest amount of time I have spent with Twitter duties.
Here’s what took me so long:
Opened up Cute FTP. Connected to site.
Opened Sidebar.
Created widget open and close [...]

In an hour, I went to Google Blog Search and typed in “Twitter Challenge” – no quotes. As you’ll see in the screen shot below, the piece I posted came up to position four — in under an hour. That’s fast!
Today, I’m at number three [...]
